Glens Falls Hospital is looking for students, healthcare workers, and entry level candidates with a background or interest in the healthcare field to join our team as a Patient Care Associate (PCA). Come grow your skills in healthcare and gain clinical experience working directly with patients!
In this position, you will be an important member of the patient care team under the direction of a Registered Nurse. As part of the patient care team, the PCA ensures a safe environment for patients, visitors, and coworkers, as well as appropriate utilization of resources. The PCA ensures comfort and the first level of care for patients.
The patient care team identifies desired outcomes for each patient based on assessment data, and plan of care and completes ongoing assessments to facilitative achievement of desired outcomes. Full time, part time, and per diem shifts available. Days, evenings, and overnight schedules
